Family Game Night

Calling all Girl Scouts!

Come with your family to Game Night!
Have fun and help a fellow Girl Scout earn her Gold Award.
Talk about a win-win!

When: January 17th, 5 to 7pm
Where: Madera Elementary School MPR
Cost: $5 per person OR bring a game to donate.  Games can be new or gently used.

All girls in Kindergarten to 12th grade are welcome to attend.
We’ll have crafts, songs, and games as girls learn what Girl Scouts is all about.

Adult supervision is required.

When? Saturday, January 25, 2pm to 3:30pm.
Where? Simi Valley Town Center Community Room, located on the 2nd floor, near the Grand Staircase.

Mane Masters (DB)

Giddy up and get ready to unleash your inner Mane Master! Join our exciting program where we’ll whisk you away on a journey into the magical world of horse grooming! Get ready to dive into the art of mane and tail braiding as we teach you the ropes (or should we say reins?) of transforming your four-legged friends into style icons! Get hands-on experience, learn expert techniques, and discover the secrets to creating dazzling braids that’ll make heads turn and hooves trot! Don’t miss out on this tail-tossing, mane-twirling adventure – come join us and let’s make some mane magic together!

Note – This program does not involve horseback riding. Proper attire is still required.

Standing BBs (JCSA)

Date: Sun Feb 02 2025, 10:15 AM PST – 11:15 AM PST

Perfect your shot at our BB Gun Rifle Shooting Range! Join fellow Girl Scouts in grade 4 and up to earn all four levels of the GSCCC BB Patch Program – Benchrest, Standing, Kneeling, and Prone. The GSCCC BB Patch Program must be completed in order.

This sport can help teach patience, discipline, determination, focus, and attention to detail – key elements of leadership and confidence building! Learning how to handle guns properly and safely through necessary training is of utmost importance so that girls can develop a healthy respect for the sport and the tools used before engaging in any activity.

Cowgirl Roping (DB)

Date: Sun Feb 02 2025, 10:30 AM PST – 11:30 AM PST

Saddle up for a wild adventure, cowgirls! Our exclusive program is here to introduce Daisies and Brownies to the thrilling world of roping! They’ll meet our majestic horses and, with the helping hoof of our Equine Staff, learn the ropes (literally!) from the ground up. But hold onto your hats because the fun doesn’t stop there! At the grand finale, these brave girls will have the chance to test their newfound skills by roping our fearless instructors! Can they lasso their way to victory? There’s only one way to find out! This tailor-made experience offers a day of laughter, learning, and lots of lassoing, designed just for Daisies and Brownies. So grab your boots and join us for a whirlwind adventure!

NOTE – This program is introductory, and no horseback riding will be involved. Proper attire is still required.
