Get ready for a sweet adventure at Camp Arnaz! Girl Scouts will meet our horses, learn about their care and nutrition, and mix up tasty, no-bake treats—using fun, seasonal recipes that change throughout the year. It’s the perfect blend of hands-on learning and horse-loving fun!

NOTE – This program does not involve riding or grooming. Some treats may need to set in a fridge or freezer and be fed at a later time. If so, girls we be able to feed pre-made treats to the horses.

Step into the world of horsemanship with Equine Odyssey! In this hands-on program, participants will learn what it takes to care for horses—feeding, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean—while developing responsibility and empathy along the way. Time in the saddle helps riders build confidence, communication, and trust with their horse. Join us for an unforgettable journey into skilled equestrian care and teamwork.

Women in Construction empowers girls to roll up their sleeves and dive into hands-on projects in building, design, and maintenance. With support from skilled mentors and fun, practical activities, girls will gain real-world skills, boost their confidence, and leave their mark on Camp Arnaz—one project at a time!

Women of Distinction – April 25, 2025 at Camp Arnaz

We are proud to invite you to our annual Women of Distinction celebration on Friday, April 25, 2025, at beautiful Camp Arnaz in Ventura. This inspiring evening is dedicated to honoring our outstanding Girl Scout volunteers, the women and men whose time, talents, and leadership shape the next generation of girls with courage, confidence, and character.

This year’s theme, Farm to Table, highlights the rich agricultural heritage of our Central Coast while celebrating the freshness of community, connection, and gratitude. Guests will enjoy locally sourced food and drinks in a warm outdoor setting, surrounded by the natural beauty of Camp Arnaz. The evening will feature recognition of our honorees, a dinner, stories of impact from our girls, and a heartfelt celebration of the volunteers who help Girl Scouts thrive.
