Girl Scouts Love State Parks – Carpenteria (All)

Join us at Carpinteria State Beach for some Nature Journaling fun! We will start our program at the outdoor classroom adjacent to the Visitor Center. A park naturalist will discuss how nature journaling helps develop our observation, critical thinking, and scientific skills and connects us with nature. Then, we will decorate our nature journals, followed by a walk around the park recording our findings at the estuary, beach, and garden area.

No tagalongs. Not a drop off event.

Girl Scouts Love State Parks – Malibu Creek (All)

Calling all Girl Scouts! Visit us at Malibu Creek State Park for an unforgettable trip! During our trip, we will walk 3-miles along Malibu Creek with trained, volunteer docents as they explore our park’s unique natural history. During this 3 to 4-hour field trip, you will learn about the local flora, fauna, geology, and human history in the park! Along our hike, Girl Scouts will have a lunch stop at our Visitor Center located 1-mile along the trail.
