2nd Annual Auburn Lane Light Walk (All, T)

Come Enjoy a fun, holiday light scavenger hunt and a cup of hot cocoa while you soak up the holiday cheer of the neighborhood!

When: Sunday, December 15th
Time: 5pm to 7pm
Where: 2317 Summerwood Avenue

Please bring one or more items to donate to the Samaritan Center.
There will be drop-off box available from December 9th to the 15th.

Food Pantry Items (new unopened and not expired):
Fruit cups, apple sauce, cup of noodles
Protein & granola bars, individual cereals
Peanut butter, jelly, sugar, canned goods with pop-top lids

Every Day Items:
Paper plates, bowls, napkins, cups, and napkins/paper towels.
Bottled water, dog & cat food, baby wipes,
Paper, shampoo, body wash, trash bags, backpacks

Clothing Items:
New and gently used men’s & women’s clothing, shoes, & accessories
New men’s & women’s underwear & socks

Junior Horseback Riding Badge Workshop (J)

Calling all aspiring equestrians! Get ready to roll up your sleeves and dive hoof-first into our fantastic program! Join us for a hands-on adventure where girls will become barn buddies, helping clean stalls, groom our majestic horses, and even dip their toes into the thrilling world of horseback riding! Along the way, they’ll unlock the secrets of basic horse behavior and safety, ensuring they’re not just riding high but riding smart too! From mucking out stalls to mastering skills in the saddle, this program isn’t just about horses – it’s about instilling responsibility, dedication, and a whole lot of horse-loving fun! So saddle up and join us for an unforgettable journey filled with hoof beats and happy hearts!

This program will satisfy the badge requirements for the Junior Horseback Riding Badge.

Festive Women in Construction (DBJCSA)

Women in Construction at Camp Arnaz aims to instill a sense of empowerment in girls by providing them with practical skills in construction, design, and maintenance. From constructing outdoor structures to landscaping and caring for the natural surroundings, this program offers a unique blend of creativity and practicality. Through engaging activities and expert guidance, participants will gain confidence in their abilities and leave a lasting impact at Camp Arnaz!
