Each session combines hands-on instruction with lively demonstrations, offering young scouts a chance to learn and interact with these majestic creatures. Brownies and Juniors girls get moving and creative as they explore the art of dance and music! They’ll warm up, try out new dance styles, discover how music is made around the world, choreograph their own routines, create original songs, and share their performances with others. It’s a fun-filled journey of rhythm, movement, and self-expression! Cadettes and Seniors girls build confidence and creativity as they take the spotlight! They’ll develop stage presence, refine their delivery, explore different performance styles, and work together to create and present a live show—from script to spotlight.

Yee-haw! Calling all Daisies and Brownies for an unforgettable Cowgirl Up at Camp Arnaz! It’s your chance to step into the boots of a true cowgirl, where you’ll meet our gentle horses and form lifelong friendships. Learn the art of grooming these magnificent creatures, discovering the secrets behind their shiny coats and graceful strides. Then, take the reins for your very first horseback riding lesson, where the basics of horsemanship will unlock a world of adventure. This isn’t just horseplay; it’s the beginning of a journey filled with fun, learning, and the magic of bonding with horses. Saddle up for a ride into the sunset, cowgirls—it’s time to make memories that will last a lifetime!

NOTE – This program involves riding horses. Proper attire is required.

Experience the wonders of the ocean on this private kayak tour. A knowledgeable tour guide will take you through the harbor and give you an insider’s look into Santa Barbara as well as some local history. Come explore with us on a Santa Barbara kayak tour and see all that this beach town has to offer!  Your guide will bring you within feet of Northern Fur Seals, Pacific Harbor Seals, California Sea Lions, California Brown Pelicans, and Cormorants. Next, you’ll explore Stearns Wharf, and after passing underneath the pier you’ll enter the Santa Barbara Harbor. The harbor will lend your eyes to magnificent vessels and Santa Barbara’s world renowned fishermen fleet who call the harbor home.

Join us aboard the historic Mystic Whaler for an exciting, hands-on Girl Scout adventure. During this five-hour sailing experience, girls will rotate through interactive stations that explore both science and history. From navigating with maps and plotting a course to learning about cargo prep, sailor life, and historic women in sailing, Girl Scouts will gain real insight into maritime life while engaging in team-based learning and leadership. This on-the-water program includes a fun patch and offers an unforgettable day of exploration and adventure aboard a working ship

Our Timber Trailblazers program offers young Girl Scouts an engaging introduction to axe throwing, combining the thrill of the sport with a secure and fun experience. Using specially designed axes that mimic the feel of real axe throwing, participants enjoy a satisfying and safe axe-venture, learning the technique in a playful environment.
