Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Spring Overnight (All)

Date: Friday, March 13 – Saturday, March 14, 2026

Join sister Girl Scouts from around the country for the 2026 Spring Girl Scout Overnight at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Camping will be inside at the Boardwalk’s Iconic Coconut Grove. Includes:
  • Sleep inside the Boardwalk’s Coconut Grove
  • Free Play in the Arcade
  • Dinner & Breakfast
  • Evening Program
  • Movie
  • Sand Castle Contest
  • Event Patch
  • Ride Wristband for Saturday
  • Discounted Parking

Space is limited for this event. This is not drop off event all Girl Scouts must have an adult chaperone, either her own or her Troop leader. Troops participating must complete a “Troop Travel” intent form and be in compliance at least one week before the event.

Black Friday Drop and Shop Patch Program (All)

Parents need two hours. Kids need snacks, crafts, and chaos containment. Enter the Black Friday Drop and Shop Patch Program! While grownups battle the sales, Girl Scouts will enjoy a cozy, fun-filled holiday hangout full of games, crafts, movies, and movement to keep them entertained (and not climbing the walls). With festive music, winter themed activities, and a whole lot of glitter glue, this program turns Black Friday into a blast for Scouts of all ages and gives caregivers the priceless gift of child free checkout time. You bring the kids; we have got the rest.

Art & Design Badge Workshop (B)

Date: Sun Apr 12 2026, 12:00 PM PDT – 1:30 PM PDT

Brownies become Creative Crafters in the Art and Design badge by experimenting with different materials and techniques. Girls will explore patterns, design elements, and personal expression as they create unique works of art inspired by the world around them.

In the Art and Design badge, Daisies become Mini Makers as they explore colors, shapes, and textures while making joyful art. Through drawing, painting, and hands-on crafts, girls will express themselves and learn that art comes in all forms—just like their creativity!

Welcome to Robot Fun—a playful, all-ages program where imagination meets innovation! Whether you love building things, solving puzzles, or dreaming up new inventions, this is your chance to explore the world of robots your way. From silly dancing bots to helpful helper machines, girls will tinker, test, and laugh while learning how robots work and what makes them tick. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and get ready to play with ideas, gadgets, and gears!

Compass and Map Fun Patch Program (All)

Date: Fri Mar 27 2026, 4:30 PM PDT – 5:30 PM PDT
Discover how to read maps, use a compass, and understand direction through fun, hands-on activities. They’ll practice navigation skills, decode symbols, and even create their own maps while building confidence in finding their way.

Through the Decades (All)

Did you know that Founder’s Day is October 31? Founder’s Day celebrates Juliette Gordon Low’s birthday and the importance of the Girl Scout movement she created! Fall is a great time to teach Girl Scouts about Juliette Gordon Low and explore Girl Scout traditions.

Use the history resources page on our website to discover traditions and unique opportunities presented by our Archives Committee- including the new Through the Decades patch program and history program checkout boxes. Program boxes can be reserved and picked-up from your nearest Girl Scout Service Center and include all the activities supplies and isntructions needed for an easy meeting! New history boxes include Juliette Low Birthday, Traditions, Victorian Tea Party and decade boxes.
