Programming Robots Badge Workshop (SA)

Date: Sun Aug 02 2026, 3:30 PM PDT – 5:00 PM PDT
Seniors and Ambassadors become AI Architects as they earn the Programming Robots badge. Diving into advanced coding and ethical innovation, girls will explore how robots process data, interact with their environment, and support society. From AI-powered assistants to environmental robots, they’ll envision—and maybe even build—the future of technology.

Media & Journalism Fun Patch Program (All)

Date: Fri Aug 07 2026, 5:00 PM PDT – 6:00 PM PDT
Lights, camera, action! Girl Scouts will dive into the exciting world of media and journalism in this hands-on program. Scouts will explore how news is created, learn about storytelling, interview skills, photography, and social media, and even get a chance to create their own news stories or mini-reports. By the end of the program, girls will earn their Media & Journalism Fun Patch while gaining confidence, creativity, and a behind-the-scenes look at the world of news and media!

How Robots Move Badge Workshop (D)

Date: Sat Aug 08 2026, 10:30 AM PDT – 12:00 PM PDT
Daisies become Motion Makers while earning the How Robots Move badge. They’ll explore the basics of movement and mechanics, discovering how robots use wheels, gears, and motors to get around. Through playful experiments and hands-on activities, girls will see the magic behind robotic motion in action.

In Podcast Friday , Girl Scouts will learn what it takes to create their very own podcast—from brainstorming topics and writing scripts to recording and editing their episodes. Girls will explore the power of storytelling, teamwork, and creativity as they share their ideas, passions, and perspectives with the world. Whether you dream of being a host, a producer, or a sound engineer, this program will help you find your voice and make it shine!

Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes become Robot Presenters as they earn the Showcasing Robots badge. After designing and building their own robots, girls will learn how to confidently present their creations to others. They’ll practice explaining how their robot works, what it does, and why it matters—developing skills in communication, creativity, and teamwork.
