Valen-Times of Fun (All)
Girls explore how love and science can both make things move! Through Valentine-themed STEM challenges and teamwork games, girls will learn about air pressure, gravity, and simple machines. They’ll create their own CD balloon hovercrafts, test a Valentine Zip Line Delivery, and end with a Team Heart Bridge Challenge that combines creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving all while celebrating kindness and friendship.

Introduction to VIT – Oxnard (SA)
Please note:
This training does not complete the full VIT Award.
Participants will complete several key steps during the workshop, but the VIT Award also requires take-away assignments, including leading activities and two full meetings with a younger troop, which must be completed off-site after the session. A VIT mentor or troop leader will help guide you through the remaining requirements.
By the end of this session, you will leave with:
- A strong understanding of the VIT Award
- Completed planning documents for your activities and meetings
- Leadership tools and confidence
- Clear next steps to finish the award with a younger Girl Scout troop
The VIT experience is all about discovering your leadership strengths, building new skills, and making a difference in the lives of younger Girl Scouts—this workshop is your first step!
