Mindful Me (JC)

In this program, Girl Scouts will explore ways to care for their minds and bodies, discovering techniques to reduce stress, increase focus, and build emotional resilience. Girls will learn how mindfulness can help them stay present, notice their thoughts and feelings, and respond thoughtfully to challenges in everyday life.

Flag Fair: Honoring Our Colors (All)

Celebrate Independence Day and the pride of our nation in Flag Fair: Honoring Our Colors! In this special program, Girl Scouts will explore the history, symbolism, and traditions behind the American flag while reflecting on the values of freedom, unity, and community that the Fourth of July represents.

Emergency Preparedness Patch Program (All)

Be ready, be safe, and be confident! In the Emergency Preparedness Patch program, Girl Scouts will learn the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively in emergencies. Girls will explore topics such as safety planning, basic first aid, and how to stay calm and make smart decisions during unexpected situations.

Camp Smart, Camp Strong (All)

In Camp Smart, Camp Strong, Girl Scouts will explore important outdoor skills, safety tips, and practical knowledge that help them thrive in a camping environment. Girls will gain confidence, build teamwork, and discover how to be prepared for a variety of outdoor adventures.

Justice Journey in a Day (A)

This journey for eleventh and twelfth graders tackles the engaging global issue of environmental justice by giving girls the opportunity to create their own equation for justice. Along the way, they will see how “Doing the Math” with even the simplest acts can lead to powerful and positive changes in the world. From scientists and doctors to lawyers and environmentalists, this journey is rich with eye-opening career possibilities – all focused on caring and collaborative work that helps both people and the planet.

Fin-tastic Adventure (All)

Date: Fri Jul 17 2026, 5:00 PM PDT – 6:00 PM PDT
Get ready to dive deep into an exciting world beneath the waves! Girl Scouts will explore the fascinating lives of aquatic animals, uncover the mysteries of underwater ecosystems, and discover how oceans, rivers, and lakes are all connected. This immersive program sparks curiosity, encourages exploration, and shows just how amazing and important aquatic environments truly are.

Digital Art Badge Workshop (BJ)

First Aid & CPR Training or LiveScan Background Check (V)

Date: Sun Dec 14 2025, 11:00 AM PST – 4:00 PM PST
CPR/First Aid: 11:00 – 4:00 pm

LiveScan: 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

CPR/First Aid Certification and LiveScan services will be available at the Oxnard Program Center. The certification training will be provided on site, and a LiveScan vendor will be present for Girl Scout volunteers to complete their requirements for AB506.

Cost:

CPR / First Aid: $65 directly to vendor (cash, check, Venmo or Zelle)

LiveScan: FREE with GSCCC form – Contact the Program Center directly for sign-ups at OPC@girlscoutsccc.org

Game Design Badge (DBJ)
