Central Coast Aquarium Rocky Intertidal Discovery Lab (BJ)

Date: Sat Jul 19 2025, 9:30 AM PDT – 12:00 PM PDT

Get ready for a day of exploration and fun as girls get up close with California’s rocky intertidal invertebrates through hands-on exploration at the touch tank. Scouts will discover how these amazing animals survive in different tide zones and make predictions based on their unique adaptations. After the lesson, girls and their chaperones will take part in a 30-minute beach cleanup, giving back to the coast and helping protect the very creatures they just learned about.

This program aligns with GSCCC’s Beachcomber Patch Program.
