Girls will build confidence and creativity as they explore the art of public speaking. Through interactive games, inspiring discussions, and hands-on speaking practice, Cadettes will complete all the steps to earn their Public Speaker badge while discovering how to communicate clearly, use body language effectively, and speak with style in any situation.

Ghosts & Giggles Fun Patch Program (All)

Date: Fri Oct 31 2025, 5:00 PM PDT – 6:00 PM PDT
The Halloween Fun Patch that mixes three take-home crafts with an active game and a quick STEM challenge. Girls choose a base for a spooky haunted house, paint and decorate mini pumpkins, and assemble silly monster wreaths. Short movement and engineering activities break up sitting time and build teamwork and problem-solving.

Operation Deep Freeze: Life and Survival in Antarctica (All)

Date: Sun Oct 26 2025, 4:00 PM PDT – 5:00 PM PDT

Join Jim Simpson, Former U.S. Navy Expedition Team Leader, as he shares firsthand experiences from Operation Deep Freeze in Antarctica. Hear about building runways and research facilities, supporting scientific expeditions in extreme conditions, encounters with unique wildlife and terrain, and surviving a dangerous whiteout in the Trans-Antarctic Mountains.

Rededication Ceremony (All)

“Threads of Green, Hearts of Gold”
This special meeting celebrates both new and returning Girl Scouts through an Investiture and Rededication ceremony. New members will be officially welcomed into the sisterhood of Girl Scouts, while returning girls will recommit to the Promise and Law. Through storytelling, symbolic activities, and a candlelight or flower ceremony, girls will deepen their connection to the values of Girl Scouting and their troop community.

Gears & Gadgets Friday (All)

Welcome to Robot Fun—a playful, all-ages program where imagination meets innovation! Whether you love building things, solving puzzles, or dreaming up new inventions, this is your chance to explore the world of robots your way. From silly dancing bots to helpful helper machines, girls will tinker, test, and laugh while learning how robots work and what makes them tick. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and get ready to play with ideas, gadgets, and gears!

Personal Leadership Awards (JCSA)

Our Brownie and Junior Girl Scout troop brings together girls from grades 2 to 5 for hands-on adventures, creative learning, and meaningful friendships. By combining the curiosity of Brownies with the growing leadership of Juniors, we create a vibrant space where girls can explore who they are and what they care about. Whether they’re earning badges, solving problems as a team, or making a difference in their community, every girl finds a place to shine.

Emergency Preparedness with Pedro (DB)

Date: Sat Oct 25 2025, 3:30 PM PDT – 5:00 PM PDT
Join us for an exciting 90-minute session where Girl Scouts team up with Pedro the Penguin to learn how to stay safe during emergencies! “Prepare with Pedro” is a fun, interactive program that introduces young Girl Scouts to basic emergency preparedness in an age-appropriate way.

Girls will explore safety topics like fire, floods, and earthquakes through engaging storytelling, hands-on activities, and games. They’ll practice what to do in an emergency, identify trusted adults, and build confidence in their ability to stay calm and safe.

Each participant will take home a mini preparedness kit and a “Prepare with Pedro” certificate to celebrate their new safety skills!
