Prone BBs (JCSA)

Date: Sat Feb 28 2026, 2:30 PM PST – 3:30 PM PST

Challenge yourself in mastering BB gun (air rifle) target shooting. There are a variety of different positions to choose from! Girl scouts will be instructed in gun safety, range etiquette, and accuracy training.

Levels must be completed in order and will increase in difficulty.

Level 1: Benchrest BB’s

Level 2: Standing BB’s

Level 3: Kneeling BB’s

Level 4: Prone BB’s

DASHing Divas (BJCSA)

Date: Sat Feb 28 2026, 4:00 PM PST – 5:00 PM PST

Join the DASHing Divas for a fun-filled STEM adventure! Get ready to code your way through a robot dance party, design creative obstacle courses, race through relays, and bring stories to life—all with the help of our playful DASH robots. It’s a hands-on journey into the world of coding and creativity that’s all about learning, laughing, and letting your imagination lead the way.

Women in Construction (JCSA)

Date: Sat Feb 28 2026, 10:00 AM PST – 11:30 AM PST

Women in Construction empowers girls to roll up their sleeves and dive into hands-on projects in building, design, and maintenance. With support from skilled mentors and fun, practical activities, girls will gain real-world skills, boost their confidence, and leave their mark on Camp Arnaz—one project at a time!

Outdoor Training – Santa Barbara (V)

Date: Thu Feb 26 2026, 6:00 PM PST AND Sun Mar 08 2026, 4:00 PM PST
Outdoor Training prepares leaders to teach their troop the skills needed for cooking and camping outdoors. This is a two part training. Both parts must be taken together and completed prior to any planned trips. Participants will plan their outdoor day during Part A and will be bring some camping and cooking supplies to Part B on Sunday.

Stepping Out is a prerequisite for this class and must be completed prior to Part A. Contact council for more information.

Wings & Wildflowers Badges (BJ)

Brownies and Juniors will explore the vital connection between flowers and bugs in nature’s ecosystem. Through hands-on discovery, games, crafts, and observation, girls learn how bugs help flowers grow, how flowers support pollinators, and how both contribute to a healthy planet. They’ll explore the parts of a flower and an insect, discover their habitats, and see how teamwork in nature mirrors how people work together to make the world bloom.

Design, Build, Repeat: Think Like an Engineer Badge Workshops (All)

Daisy/Brownie

In the Little Builders: Think Like an Engineer badge, Daisies and Brownies explore the exciting world of engineering by using their creativity and problem-solving skills! Through hands-on activities, they’ll learn how engineers think about building, designing, and fixing things. Girls will have fun experimenting with materials, testing their ideas, and discovering how to work like real engineers.

Junior/Cadette
Builder’s Mindset invites Juniors and Cadettes to explore engineering through hands-on projects that develop creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Juniors will design, build, and test simple engineering challenges, learning how to think like real engineers. Cadettes will take their skills further by tackling advanced design problems, planning prototypes, and refining their creations with a focus on efficiency and impact. This program encourages girls to become innovative leaders with strong technical and collaboration skills.

Senior/Ambassador
Innovator’s Edge challenges Seniors and Ambassadors to push the boundaries of engineering through complex, real-world projects. Seniors will apply critical thinking and advanced problem-solving to design and prototype innovative solutions, while Ambassadors will lead teams, manage projects, and explore engineering’s impact on society and sustainability. This program empowers girls to become visionary engineers and confident leaders ready to tackle future challenges.

Cost: $10 includes badge

How it works:

During this Girl Scout year, check off items on the list linked below as you and your amazing troop complete them.

For some items, you will need to send a photo of your amazing girls. Use the Google form linked at the bottom. Please make sure everyone in the photo is allowed to be photographed. You can submit the form multiple times.

Please note: no double dipping. For example, if you host a community service event, that counts for just one box.

Check off eight or more items to earn the patch.

Complete 11 or 12 items to earn the Gold Star that goes with the patch!

Our Council and Girl Scouts can help her get there!  Girl Scout Destinations are the ultimate travel adventure for girls 11-years-old and older. Girls apply individually for trips sponsored by Girl Scout Councils or Girl Scouts of the USA to join Girl Scouts from around the world in the trip of a lifetime.
