Design, Build, Repeat: Think Like an Engineer Badge Workshops (All)

In the Little Builders: Think Like an Engineer badge, Daisies and Brownies explore the exciting world of engineering by using their creativity and problem-solving skills! Through hands-on activities, they’ll learn how engineers think about building, designing, and fixing things. Girls will have fun experimenting with materials, testing their ideas, and discovering how to work like real engineers.

Junior/Cadette
Builder’s Mindset invites Juniors and Cadettes to explore engineering through hands-on projects that develop creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Juniors will design, build, and test simple engineering challenges, learning how to think like real engineers. Cadettes will take their skills further by tackling advanced design problems, planning prototypes, and refining their creations with a focus on efficiency and impact. This program encourages girls to become innovative leaders with strong technical and collaboration skills.

Senior/Ambassador
Innovator’s Edge challenges Seniors and Ambassadors to push the boundaries of engineering through complex, real-world projects. Seniors will apply critical thinking and advanced problem-solving to design and prototype innovative solutions, while Ambassadors will lead teams, manage projects, and explore engineering’s impact on society and sustainability. This program empowers girls to become visionary engineers and confident leaders ready to tackle future challenges.

Cost: $10 includes badge

Forge Festival 2025 (All, T, V)

Come One, Come All!  It’s the annual Forge Festival at Adam’s Forge!

When: Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 11:00am – 3:00pm

Where: Adam’s Forge 750 East Easy St., Simi Valley

What: This could be your favorite thing ever!

Live hot forging, team striking, copper forming before your very eyes! We’ll have Blacksmithing Olympics for kids,  clay to play with and an ensemble drawing experience.   You’ll see jewelry making, needle felting, chainmail,  fancy knot work and more! The one and only Tony Swatton, armorer to the stars, will be on hand to share some of his special magic.

This is a free event, open to all.  Please sign up if you want to come and see what we’re all about!

Please note: This is a working shop environment, so please dress accordingly.  Closed-toe shoes are required to enter the shop.

You can also buy tickets for:

  • The Tomahawk toss
  • Try your hand at forging a mini-sword
  • Make a ring out of a quarter!
  • Compete in the hot forging competition

Global Changemakers: Badge Workshops (DBJ)

Join us for Global Change Makers, an exciting and hands-on workshop series where Girl Scouts will explore how they can make a difference in the world around them. Through fun, age-appropriate activities, games, and creative projects, girls will discover what it means to be a global citizen and take action on issues that matter—earning their Global Action Badge along the way!

Cookie Stars: Financial Literacy Badge Workshops (DBJ)

In the Daisy Cookie Star: Goal Setter badge, young Daisies learn how to set simple and exciting goals for their cookie sales adventure! Through fun activities, they’ll discover how to plan their cookie goals, get ready to share with family and friends, and celebrate their progress. It’s all about building confidence, teamwork, and having fun while learning how to reach for the stars—one cookie at a time!

Brownie Cookie Boss: Decision Maker badge, Brownies learn how to make smart choices to help their cookie business succeed! They’ll explore fun ways to plan, decide how to spend their cookie money, and think about how to help others with their earnings. This badge helps girls build confidence, teamwork skills, and good decision-making—all while having a blast with cookies!
Junior Cookie Crew: Collaborator badge, Juniors learn how to work together to make their cookie business a big success! Through teamwork, communication, and sharing ideas, girls will discover how collaborating helps them reach their goals faster. They’ll practice helping each other, planning together, and celebrating their achievements as a team—all while having fun selling cookies!

Welcome to Robot Fun—a playful, all-ages program where imagination meets innovation! Whether you love building things, solving puzzles, or dreaming up new inventions, this is your chance to explore the world of robots your way. From silly dancing bots to helpful helper machines, girls will tinker, test, and laugh while learning how robots work and what makes them tick. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and get ready to play with ideas, gadgets, and gears!

Black History Heritage Month (All)

Who says Valentine’s Day is just about hearts and hugs? In this playful STEM program, girls will conduct sweet science experiments, explore engineering with love-themed builds, and discover how math and technology can be part of the celebration.

Money Mavens: Exploring, Building, Budgeting & Beyond (DBJ)

From playful coin counting to real-world budgeting, Girl Scouts of all levels will build money smarts and confidence through hands-on, age-appropriate badge activities.

Daisies earn their Money Explorer badge by learning what money is, why we use it, and how to make simple choices about saving and spending—through fun, interactive games.
Brownies and Juniors dive into budgeting basics. Brownies plan how to spend, save, and share money, while Juniors create their own budgets and set financial goals to earn their Budget Builder and Budget Maker badges.

It’s a fun and empowering journey toward financial confidence—at every grade level!

Media Girl Positions (All)

Big news — Media Girl positions are officially open! If you’re a creative, passionate Girl Scout who loves expressing yourself through writing, podcasting, or social media, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll get the chance to use your voice and talents to represent your council, share your experiences, and inspire others! This is more than just a role—it’s a chance to lead, create, and connect with others in a meaningful way.

What Media Girls Do:

  • Are the first to call on to participate in radio and TV interviews where they speak about what it’s like to be a Girl Scout.
  • Create video content for our TikTok, Facebook,YouTube, and Instagram, and other social media accounts when applicable.
  • Explore interests in photography, graphic design, writing, and videography. Potentially tour local media facilities and learn from guest speakers in the media industry.
  • Potential to write as a guest author on our Girl Scouts CCC blog.
